In addition to standard “stick built” homes, Rain Creek Construction also specializes in insulated concrete form construction. While this method of building a home has been around for decades, only now is it gaining widespread use.

Custom Shops

Looking for a small place to house your home-based business? How about a large, three bay shop for working on your cars? Either way, Rain Creek Construction will build the shop to your specifications, supplying all the electricity and plumbing you’ll need. These definitely are not your common “out of the box” plastic sheds or pole shed.

Our shops all have at least 10-foot ceilings, but can go up to 16 feet if needed. Overhead doors are mainstays in all of our shops, making for easy access to all of your tools and toys. We offer several styles and plans to make sure you get exactly what you want.

Accessory Dwelling Units

Also known as ADUs, these buildings are gaining in popularity as families look to make room for older parents or to turn a part of their lot into an income property. These ADUs can be built adjacent, built into, or kept entirely separate from the existing home.

Rain Creek Construction takes everything into consideration when it comes ADUs: electricity, plumbing, and other building codes. Whatever you want out of your ADU, we will deliver.

Insulated Concrete Form Construction

Like the name suggests, concrete is the main material in this type of construction. These walls are more energy efficient than standards homes and are more durable in the face of natural disasters. These walls are also resistant to fires and act as powerful deterrent to pests that may try to chew their way into your home.

Building an ICF home is a lot like put together a Lego set: forms are placed together, snapped into place, and filled with concrete. These forms will not only be used in the foundation, but exterior and interior walls and even the roofs.

Rain Creek Construction is known as a top custom home builder in the Clark County area. That’s not all we excel at, however. If you are interested in adding a shop or accessory dwelling unit on your land, or want to learn more about ICF construction, contact us today.
